A young Swindon family is desperate for their beloved dog after hours of searching.
One 8-year-old girl couldn’t stop crying, mum says, while the other younger brother was dropped off at school hoping he’ll come back before she suspects anything.
Rhino is a mixed breed, he is described as “small and stocky” with a “kinda blue” Shei Pei tongue.

The beloved family pet, 14, went missing around 6:30-7:00 p.m. on Sunday January 9.
He was last seen chasing a fox to Snakey and Orchard in Penhill, Swindon.
Mum Charlie Lawer told WiltshireLive she has been walking around since he was lost and was “a mess”.
She said: “My eldest daughter can’t stop crying and I haven’t even told my youngest yet. I took her to school hoping we can find her before she does. be recovered.”
So far the concerned relative has been through the woods, Seven Fields, the flower park and part of Abbey Meads and unfortunately has not found Rhino. She started looking further earlier this morning around Pinehurst and Stratton.
Charlie posted on Facebook, calling for the public’s help in finding the ‘old boy’ who must be ‘so cold and scared’.
She added: “Rhino means everything. My partner mom brought him in as a little pup. He’s been there with my kids since the day they were born and they love him. He’s such a character and always on my lap at want hugs.”
Rhino has now been found and is home with his family, although still ‘very very shaky and scared’ and sporting a few more scratches, mum couldn’t be more grateful.
