Police seek help identifying suspect shown in video vandalizing Brigham Young’s winter home – St George News


ST. GEORGE- Police are looking for information to help identify the suspect who was filmed throwing rocks through several windows of the historic Brigham Young Winter home.

The St. George Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for causing significant damage to the Brigham Young Winter Home, according to a statement posted on the department’s social media site.

The incident happened at 1:45 a.m. on March 27, when a suspect dressed in racing gear allegedly threw rocks at the house and through several windows in the landmark.

A video capturing the incident has been released to police and can be viewed at the top of this report. The video is narrated by Detective Josh Wilson and was provided courtesy of the St. George Police Department.

Authorities say the incident caused thousands of dollars in damage. The windows have since been replaced.
